Summer in my garden

Summer in Melbourne has been amazing. I've enjoyed watching my garden grow and change each and every day. My cucumbers are doing so well I'm already planning my crop for next year.

When harvesting it’s best not to pull the fruit off the vine.  Pulling them off can snap the vine in half and seriously jeopardise the rest of your crop. Cut the cucumbers off with a sharp pair of clean scissors or secateurs, making sure you leave a bit of stem attached to the fruit.

As I get closer to the end of this experiment the more I realise how much it has served me and how much I have learned.

It's hard to think I've been working on my journals and garden for almost a year.
